Not legal or immigration advice. Arriviana offers settlement guidance only — for status, permits, or applications, we'll connect you with a licensed professional.

Arriviana Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service, making a payment, or otherwise using Arriviana's website or services, you ("client," "you") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Our Services

Arriviana provides practical settlement support to newcomers to Canada. Our current modular services include:

  • Driver's License Exchange guidance (license reciprocity information, G1/G2 testing preparation, vehicle registration, and auto insurance guidance)

  • School & Childcare Placement support (school board enrollment, academic record transfers, licensed daycare search)

  • Healthcare & OHIP Access support (OHIP registration steps, walk-in clinic and family physician search)

  • Resume & Career Localization (converting international experience into Canadian hiring formats, credential assessment guidance, sector networking)

Additional support may be available, including orientation guidance, banking and SIN setup assistance, temporary housing search assistance, and referrals to licensed professionals.

Important scope limitation: Arriviana is not a licensed immigration consultant, paralegal, or lawyer. We do not provide immigration advice, legal advice, or representation before any government body or tribunal. Where a matter requires licensed advice, we will refer you to an appropriately licensed immigration consultant, lawyer, or accountant. You are responsible for verifying the credentials of any third party we refer you to, and Arriviana is not responsible for the advice or services they provide.

3. Service Descriptions, Pricing, and Payment Terms

Current services, descriptions, and prices (in Canadian dollars, taxes extra where applicable) are listed on our website at the time of booking. Before you complete a booking, we will provide you the opportunity to review the service selected, the total price, applicable taxes, and payment terms, and to correct any errors before confirming your order. After you complete a booking, we will send you a written confirmation of your order (by email) that you can retain and print.

We accept payment by debit and credit card (Visa/Mastercard) through our third-party payment processor. Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Refunds

Our refund terms — including our non-refundable fee policy, how support extensions and add-ons are treated, and your statutory rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 — are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

5. Client Responsibilities

To deliver our services effectively, we rely on you to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documents;

  • Respond to requests for information within a reasonable time;

  • Understand that some outcomes (e.g., license approval, job offers, school placement decisions, healthcare enrollment timelines) are ultimately decided by third parties — governments, institutions, or employers — not by Arriviana.

Delays or issues caused by incomplete or inaccurate information you provide, or by third-party processing times outside our control, are not the responsibility of Arriviana.

6. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We provide guidance, coordination, and administrative support. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to approval of a license, healthcare enrollment, school or daycare placement, or employment. Our role is to help you navigate these processes efficiently and correctly, not to guarantee their result.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arriviana's total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Arriviana is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Ontario or Canadian law, including certain rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

We handle your personal information, including identification and immigration documents, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and how it's protected. By using our services, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

Section 4 above references our separate Refund Policy; both it and the Privacy Policy form part of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, graphics, guides, and checklists — is owned by Arriviana or licensed to us, and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our permission.

10. Termination

We may decline or discontinue service to any client, including for non-payment, abusive conduct, or provision of false information, subject to any refund obligations required by law for amounts paid for services not yet delivered. You may stop using our services at any time; our Refund Policy governs any amounts already paid.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will first be addressed by contacting us directly (Section 13) in an effort to resolve it informally before pursuing any other remedy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
